The transmission described as the same of Celerio with AMT or automated-manual transmission. The new Alto is said to be 75 kgs lighter and thus retains good mileage and performance. You will get around 24Km/l fuel economy and it is 15% more than the one with the manual gearbox. The pricing is not yet announced and it may be around 3 -3.5 lakh.
